ILOILO CITY — The island-province of Guimaras is developing as a refuge for migratory birds, according to a Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) report. Results of a DENR waterfowl census conducted from January 26 to 28 showed that the bird population on the island reached 2,792, a 489-percent increase from the 570 recorded last year. READ MORE ».
